Karen Martin, WHNP, joined AHCFW in July of 2016. A native of Michigan, she graduated with her BSN from Saginaw Valley State College. A few years after relocating to Virginia, she received her Master of Science degree, with a specialty as an OB/GYN Nurse Practitioner, from Virginia Commonwealth University/Medical College of Virginia. She has been practicing in the Shenandoah Valley since 1994. She provides care to girls and women of all ages, but has a special interest in adolescents. She believes in education her patients about their bodies, illnesses, treatments and prevention of diseases. Karen and her husband are current residents of Harrisonburg, Virginia. In addition to Women's Health, Karen also enjoys gardening, family history and spending time with her husband and pets.
