Dr. Larsen has specialized in Women's Health since 1994. His love for the outdoors is what prompted him to relocate to the Shenandoah Valley. He grew up in California, and most recently practiced in Plattsburg, New York. He served in the United States Airforce at Scott Airforce Base in Illinois, where he was part of the women's healthcare team.

In addition to general and high risk obstetrics, Dr. Larsen has special interests in robotic surgery (he has participated in over 300 robotic assisted surgeries), infertility evaluation and treatments, pelvic organ prolapse surgery, and microsurgery or laparoscopic laser surgery for endometriosis.

When he is away from work he enjoys most any outdoor activity including golf, cross country skiing and piloting his own plane.
